Devotional for Today

This devotional for today is a reminder that you don’t have to carry everything on your own.

Life can feel heavy. You may be dealing with stress, unanswered prayers, or silent battles no one else sees. But God is speaking to you right now:

👉 “Release it to Me.”

Not later. Not when things get better.
Now.

God never asked you to carry anxiety, fear, or burdens alone. He invites you to surrender them—and trust Him completely.

What This Devotional Means

This verse is more than encouragement—it’s an instruction.

“Cast” means release, throw, let go completely.

God is not asking you to manage your worries.
He is asking you to give them to Him fully.

  • That burden you keep thinking about
  • That delay you don’t understand
  • That situation you cannot fix

👉 God is saying: “Let Me carry it.”

When you release it, you make room for His peace.

Powerful Prayer — Let Go and Trust God

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today with a heart that is heavy, a mind that is full, and a spirit that is longing for Your peace.

Lord, You see everything I am carrying—the worries I have not spoken, the fears I try to hide, the burdens that feel too much for me to bear. You know the silent battles, the unanswered prayers, and the moments where I feel overwhelmed and unsure.

Today, I make a decision.
I will no longer carry what belongs to You.

Your Word says to cast all my anxiety on You because You care for me. So right now, Father, I release every burden into Your hands.

I release every fear about my future.
I release every worry about my finances, my family, and my life.
I release every delay, every closed door, and every disappointment.

Lord, take control.

Teach me to trust You even when I don’t understand.
Help me to rest in Your promises even when I don’t see results yet.
Strengthen my faith when doubt tries to rise within me.

Father, quiet every anxious thought in my mind.
Calm every storm in my heart.
Replace my fear with Your peace, my confusion with Your clarity, and my weakness with Your strength.

I declare that I will not be ruled by anxiety.
I will not be consumed by fear.
I will not be controlled by what I cannot change.

Instead, I choose to trust You.

I trust that You are working behind the scenes.
I trust that You are ordering my steps.
I trust that every delay is not denial, and every closed door is Your protection.

Lord, fill my heart with supernatural peace—the kind of peace that goes beyond understanding. Let it guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Teach me to surrender daily.
Teach me to release control.
Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight.

Father, I place my life completely in Your hands.
My plans, my dreams, my desires—I give them all to You.

Have Your way in my life.

And as I let go, I receive Your peace.
As I surrender, I receive Your strength.
As I trust, I receive Your presence.

Thank You, Lord, for loving me.
Thank You for carrying what I cannot carry.
Thank You for being my refuge, my strength, and my peace.

I rest in You today.

In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
