Before You Pray
Think about the hurt you have been carrying.
Give it to God honestly. He already understands.
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today with an honest heart.
You see the wounds I carry — the disappointments, the memories, and the moments that left me broken inside. Some pain I speak about, but some I have kept silent. Yet nothing is hidden from You.
Today I surrender every hurt to You.
Heal the places in my heart where rejection planted fear.
Heal the memories that still return and trouble my peace.
Heal the disappointment that made me doubt myself and even doubt Your plan.
Lord, remove bitterness before it takes root in me.
Replace anger with understanding and pain with comfort.
Where I built walls to protect myself, gently teach me to trust again.
Restore my confidence where life weakened me.
Restore my joy where sorrow drained me.
Restore my hope where waiting discouraged me.
Help me forgive those who hurt me, not because they deserve it, but because I desire freedom.
Free my heart from carrying yesterday into today.
Fill empty places inside me with Your presence.
Give me peace that does not depend on circumstances.
Remind me that my identity is not in what happened to me, but in who You say I am.
I choose to believe You are healing me — even if it is gradual, even if I cannot see it yet.
You are restoring what I thought was lost and strengthening what once felt fragile.
Thank You for staying close when I felt alone.
Thank You for restoring my heart step by step.
I receive Your healing and walk forward in faith.
